Gauby Calcinaires It is a natural red wine made from Cariñena, Syrah, Grenache and Monastrellgrapes and produced by Domaine Gauby.
Domaine Gauby is a winery in the area of Roussillon that farms its almost 50 hectares of vineyard organically and biodynamically.
Gauby Calcinaires is fermented with native yeasts and macerated with the skins for a period of 2 to 4 weeks. Of the final wine, 80% is aged for 10 months in concrete tanks and the rest in old oak foudres. It is bottled without filtering or clarifying. Only 5,000 bottles of Gauby Calcinaires are produced.

2017 | Gauby Calcinaires 2017 has aromas of black fruit and notes of pepper. On the palate it is powerful, although its tannins are smooth and silky. It has a lingering finish which brings in it memories of pepper. |
