Frangelico Licor de Avellanas is a liqueur made from the combination of Italian hazelnuts with spirits and extracts of coffee, vanilla and cocoa. Beautiful light pale golden colour with intense hazelnut aromas on the nose. The palate shows a rich texture accompanied by vanilla and dark chocolate notes. A liqueur of balanced sweetness, with a smooth, persistent and aromatic finish.

About Frangelico Hazelnut Liqueur

Legend has it that in Piedmont, northern Italy, lived the Angelic monks(Fra'Angelico in Italian). This was a group of Christian monks and hermits whose main skill was the production of high quality food and drinks, where spirits stood out. In this sense, anything was good for their preparations, like wild hazelnuts. Frangelico Licor De Avellanas is born from these origins and this century-old recipe.

Italian hazelnuts are the key base of this liqueur. After harvesting, they are peeled and roasted, then crushed and left to macerate with alcohol and water. Later this mixture is distilled, obtaining the base alcohol for Frangelico Licor De Avellanas. Now it is time for extracts, where cocoa, vanilla berries, roasted coffee and other mixtures stand out. Finally, Frangelico Licor De Avellanas is blended with alcohol, sugar and water and left to settle for six to eight weeks.

During this time Frangelico Licor De Avellanas will have had plenty of time to mellow and balance, becoming this legendary and unforgettable drink.
