About Finca Torrea

Finca Torrea is a red wine from the D.O. Rioja, made of Tempranillo and Graciano grapes from the old vineyard which surrounds the estate Finca de Torrea, where the winery Marqués de Riscal is currently located. The fermentation is conducted in small stainless steel deposits, at a temperature that does not exceed 25ºC, in order to preserve the most out of the character of the fruit. After the malolactic fermentation, the wine remains for 18 months in French oak barrels from Allier. This wine is more modern in character, with a different style from the wines that Marqués de Riscal have traditionally produced.
2018 Finca Torrea 2018 is a red wine that offers intense aromas of ripe red and black fruits on the nose, accompanied by balsamic nuances and notes from its barrel aging. On the palate, it confirms its fruity power. A round and tasty red wine with silky tannins and great vivacity.
