About Ermita d'Espiells

Ermita d'Espiells is a white wine produced by the Juve y Camps winery in the Penedes. The winery is located in Sant Sadurní d'Anoia (Barcelona).

Ermita d'Espiells is a blend of native Penedès varieties, Macabeo, Xarel·lo and Parellada, supplemented by a small percentage of Chardonnay. All the grapes come from the estates of the winery, La Cuscona and Mediona.

For processing a traditional winemaking is conducted with a temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel. The wine subsequently is aged for nine months in the bottle.

2014 Nice and fresh entry. With unctuous step, light and citrus sensations. Good acidity. Medium-long finish.

Straw yellow with golden hues.

High aromatic intensity, a presence of white fruit and citrus notes, toast and floral. Very elegant.
2013 A tasty and very fresh white wine. Good attack and rich on the palate. Similar to its nose, intense and very enjoyable. Excellent acidity bringing lots of freshness. Good, persistent finish, leaving refreshing fruity sensations.

Pretty pale yellow colour. Very bright and clean.

Very good aromatic intensity dominated by white fruit (apple and pear) accompanied by light and elegant floral aromas. Slightly herbal overtones.
