About Entre Vinyes Brisat

While modern sewing machines were once a revolution due to their efficiency, hand sewing has seen a renaissance among those who cherish traditional craftsmanship and a personal connection with their creations. This artisanal handiwork allows for greater control over the intricacies and can impart a distinctive touch to garments and sewing projects. Similarly, orange wines, also known as brisados, a practice dating back 6000 years in Georgia, have made a comeback to become the latest trend in the oenological world. Eschewing a technical, technological, or industrial profile, Entre Vinyes, a winery from Penedès established by Maria Barrena and her partner Josep Tort, revives this ancient knowledge to showcase the best of the natural landscape that surrounds it.

Thus, Entre Vinyes Oníric Brisat was born, an orange wine originating from old vines surrounded by forest, spontaneous vegetation, and dry stone margins, cultivated through regenerative agriculture, 100% organic and with low yields. After a manual and selective harvest, the grapes of xarel·lo and parellada undergo partial fermentation with skins for 14 days in a stainless steel vat. Subsequently, the wine matures for 3 months partially in 700-liter amphorae and standing tanks. Finally, it is bottled unfiltered.

Entre Vinyes Oníric Brisat 2024 is an orange wine that captivates with its earthy and spicy aromas, complemented by a vibrant hint of orange peel. On the palate, it unfolds with a juicy and refreshing liveliness that envelops without being heavy or bitter. Its fruity profile evokes citrus, ripe peach, and wildflowers, while its mineral finish and gentle tannins provide a smooth and elegant texture. An excellent introduction to the world of natural wines, brimming with character and vitality.

Entre Vinyes Oníric Brisat 2023 offers a delightful bouquet of citrus, peach, flowers, and herbs. On the palate, it is fresh and light, with a delicate fruitiness reminiscent of fresh fruit. The finish is pleasantly mineral, with soft tannins providing a very agreeable texture.

Entre Vinyes Oníric Brisat 2022 emerges as a youthful and approachable orange wine. It boasts a straw yellow hue with pinkish undertones, presenting a fresh and enticing appearance. On the nose, it unfurls an array of scents encompassing vibrant citrus, succulent peach, and a hint of floral herbs reminiscent of a garden in springtime, accompanied by a subtle sweetness suggestive of fruits preserved in syrup.
