About Enrique Mendoza Chardonnay Joven

Enrique Mendoza Chardonnay Joven is a white wine from Alicante produced by Bodegas Enrique Mendoza. This wine is a varietal Chardonnay.

The grapes used for this wine comes entirely from the winery's own vineyards, which are located in the Cabeza de la Virgen de Villena.

Once harvested, the grapes go through a maceration process that lasts 3 hours and then are fermented at a temperature of 13º.

The wine finally rests with own yeast and lees until bottling.

Bodegas Enrique Mendoza was established in 1989 with the planting of 2,000 plants. It now has 80 hectares of land and is a leading Spanish winery.

The bouquet reveals scents of hay, green apple, freshly cut grass, dried fruits (hazelnut), and tropical fruits (banana, pineapple). On the palate, it is unctuous and lingering, demonstrating a harmonious balance and a delightfully vibrant acidity.
