About Dubl Brut Edition I

In the world of design, the Italians are the kings. Italy has a rich tradition in design and craftsmanship that has been maintained over the years and is clear to see in most of their products. Dubl, a wine project that was born in Irpinia 2004 with the aim of expressing the full potential of the best native grapes in Campania (Italy), is presented with bottles designed by great industry figures like Massimo Vignelli and Fabio Novembre. Local varieties like Greco, Aglianico and Falanghina made with the champenoise method provide a new as yet unexplored horizon, and the iconic logo reflects the winery’s innovative power. An original interpretation of a unique place, the result of the perfect union between technique and the uniqueness of the terroir.

One of their wines, Dubl Brut Edition I, is a sparkling wine made from the Greco and Falanghina varieties from small vineyards located in the municipalities of Tufo, Santa Paolina and Montefusco. These are vines with an average age of 15 years old and planted on volcanic soil and harvested by hand when they reach optimum ripeness. In the winery, they are selected and pressed in whole clusters and the resulting must is fermented in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. Once the base wine has been made, it undergoes a second fermentation in the bottle, following the champenoise method, and remains on the lees for 42 months. Finally, the wine is disgorged and expedition liqueur is added before being sealed with a cork stopper.

So, Dubl Brut Edition I is made with a high quality technique and a luxury design. This is a sparkling wine made following the traditional method that pays tribute to Campania’s typical varieties. Equal parts minerality and freshness.
