About Domaine Berthet-Bondet Tradition

Domaine Berthet-Bondet Tradition is a wine from Chardonnay and Savagnin grapes from the AOC Côtes du Jura produced by the Domaine Berthet-Bondet winery.

Domaine Berthet-Bondet is a winery in Jura founded in 1985 by a couple of agronomists. They have cultivated their 15 hectares of vineyard organically since 2010. 10.5 hectares belong to the AOC Côtes du Jura and the rest to the AOC Château-Charlon.

Domaine Berthet-Bondet Tradition is harvested manually, and destemmed and pressed when it arrives in the cellar. It ferments at a controlled temperature in stainless steel vats and then undergoes a two-year ageing in oak barrels under a cap of flor yeast . Due to the processing techniques followed, its ageing potential is up to 30 years.

2012 Domaine Berthet-Bondet Tradition 2012 is a wine with intense aromas of nuts, ripe white fruit and a slight touch of yeast, all of these linked by a pleasant saltiness. On the palate it is dry and robust, with hints of nuts perceived on the nose together with honeyed touches, and with plenty of volume. It is a full and fresh wine.
