About Dits del Terra

Dits del Terra is a red wine produced by the winery Terroir al Límit in the D.O.Q. Priorat. Terroir al Límit is a winery renowned for its dedication to the land. With a minimally interventionist philosophy, they revolutionize the region by aiming to convey the terroir's characteristics to the fullest.

Dits del Terra is a single-varietal wine made from Cariñena sourced from a small vineyard of less than 2 hectares, consisting of 60-year-old vines planted on slate soils, known as licorella in Priorat, at altitudes between 300 and 500 meters. Terroir al Límit practices sustainable organic farming, demonstrating great respect for the land.

The harvest is carried out manually in small boxes, and the grapes are fermented in whole clusters for 7 to 10 days in cement tanks before being aged for 8 months in cement. Finally, it is bottled without filtering or fining.
Dits del Terra is an elegant, fresh, sincere, and highly expressive red wine from Priorat.

2021

Dits del Terra 2021 is a concentrated red wine with an attractive cherry red colour. As we explore the nose, we are enveloped by earthy aromas that intertwine with hints of blueberry, accompanied by subtle hints of whole wheat bread and an oak influence. On the palate, it unfolds with an elegance that stands out, presenting young tannins of excellent quality that add structure and promise a good aging.
2012 The palate is powerful, rich, deep. A great presence of fruit and toasted oak, spices and mineral notes. Good acidity. Long finish.

Cherry colour with a garnet rim and fine tear.

Intense nose. Ripe fruit, raspberry, cherry, balsamic, minerals, herbal scrub and wet ground with notes of toasted oak.
2011 Round and exuberant on the palate, with rich flavours of red and black berries.

Dark red colour with violet reflections.

Aromas of dark raspberries, cherry jam, Indian spices and exotic soil.
2009 In the palate, this wine is powerful, intense, concentrated and highly balanced. Its embracing notes of ripe fruit and its elegant toasted aromas are noticed along with well defined tannins and with a good acidity which provide this wine with a great structure. Its nice toasted and mineral notes are felt in its long and persistent aftertaste.

Dark cherry colour wine with a high robe. It shows abundant thin and coloured tears.

High intensity aromas with wonderful initial mineral notes followed by notes of very ripe black fruit released along with balsamic touches, aromatic herbs, undergrowth and toasted and spicy hints.
