About Dehesa Gago
Dehesa Gago is a red wine from the D.O. Toro, crafted by Telmo Rodríguez, a winery that exclusively employs indigenous grape varieties from original regions, a philosophy that contrasts sharply with the surge in the cultivation of foreign varieties that has occurred in Spain.
This wine is a single-varietal made from Tinta de Toro grapes sourced from leased vineyards planted in bush vines on sandy soil with gravel terraces. Regarding its production, fermentation was carried out with native yeasts in cement and stainless steel vats, followed by ageing in cement vats for a period of 4 to 6 months.
Dehesa Gago is a wine renowned for its outstanding price-to-quality ratio.
