About De Muller Chardonnay

De Muller Chardonnay is a white wine of the Chardonnay variety produced by De Muller in the D.O. Tarragona.

De Muller is a winery of Alsatian origin that began life in 1851, when the family moved to the province of Tarragona with the aim of producing quality wines. It currently belongs to the Martorell Family and has two wineries, one in the D.O. Tarragona and another in the DOCa. Priorat.

The grapes for De Muller Chardonnay are grown on trellises and pruned in double cordon royat style. At the beginning of September, when the grapes are at their optimum ripeness, they are harvested.


De Muller Chardonnay is fermented in French, American, Hungarian, Russian, Romanian, Slavic and German oak barrels for 24 days at a controlled temperature of between 14 and 16ºC. It then undergoes a short ageing on lees with battonage.

De Muller Chardonnay is a creamy white wine with a strong Mediterranean personality.

2018 De Muller Chardonnay is an unctuous white wine with aromas of tropical fruit and notes of wood. On the palate it offers sweet sensations with a slight acidity and notes of banana and spicy elements.
