About Cortijo los Aguilares Tadeo

Cortijo Los Aguilares Tadeo is a red wine made in the D.O. Sierras de Málaga by the Cortijo de los Aguilares winery, in Ronda.
 

Cortijo Los Aguilares is a Holm-oak wood area of 800 hectares, with 19 hectares of vines, which were planted in 1999. They are spread across three plots with clayey-calcareous soils at an altitude of more than 900 metres.

Vine cultivation is carried out in line with the principles of integrated agriculture, respecting the environment as much as possible and avoiding the use of herbicides and pesticides.

This is a young winery that aims to achieve the maximum reflection of the terroir in its wines.
 

Cortijo Los Aguilares Tadeo is a red wine made with Petit Verdot from vineyards located on the estate itself, on clay-limestone soils at an altitude of 900 metres above sea level.

It is made from a selection of the winery’s best Petit Verdot barrels. Following a manual harvest, the grapes are destemmed and placed in stainless steel tanks, where they remain with their skins during the entire alcoholic fermentation process. The wine is then racked into French Allier oak barrels of different sizes, where it will remain for 15 months.
 

2020

Cortijo Los Aguilares Tadeo 2020 is a powerful, balanced and complex wine. On the nose there are subtle ripe black fruit aromas with spicy and balsamic notes. The palate is intense and voluminous with a slight freshness on the finish.



 

 

2019

Cortijo los Aguilares Tadeo 2019 is a red wine with an intense red colour, very opaque, clean and bright. The nose is very aromatic with strong notes of spices (pepper), balsamic and fruity notes (black plum). The palate is intense, concentrated and very fresh, with powerful tannins that balance perfectly with the acidity. Long and mineral finish.

2018

Cortijo Los Aguilares Tadeo 2018 is a red wine that on the nose presents a bouquet of spiced aromas, with pepper being the most prominent, complemented by balsamic undertones and black plum notes. On the palate, one encounters robust tannins and a balanced acidity nuanced with delicate mineral hints. In summary, this is an intense, concentrated, and vibrant red wine.
