Cognac Martell VSOP Red Barrel is a warm copper-coloured cognac, with golden reflections. On the nose there are intense aromas of fruits like mirabelle plum, greengage, apricot and vineyard peach. The palate reaffirms its fruity power and is accompanied by hints of wood and soft spicy flavours. An exquisite cognac that is perfectly balanced and elegant.

About Martell VSOP Red Barrell Cognac

Martell is the oldest cognac producer in France. It was founded in 1715 by Jean Martell and, after three centuries of experience, continues to offer some of the most versatile and elegant cognacs in the world.
 
Cognac Martell VSOP Red Barrel is a cognac with a perfect balance, the result of blending eaux-de-vie of different ages. The specification on its label, VSOP (Very Superior Old Pale) indicates that the youngest of its eaux-de-vie is aged for at least four years. Martell uses fine-grained oak barrels to enhance the development of refined aromas and fruity notes.
 
To round off the eaux-de-vie blend Cognac Martell VSOP Red Barrel is aged in red barrels (fûts roux), so called because of the reddish hue they acquire over years of use. The result? A cognac with fruity aromas and woody nuances that is full of elegance and perfectly balanced, worthy of the most demanding palates.
