About Chivite Las Fincas Rosado

Chivite Las Fincas Rosado is a rosé wine produced in Villatuerta (Navarre) by Grupo Chivite within the new denomination, V.T. 3 Riberas.

Grupo Chivite originated in Bodegas Julián Chivite, a very old winery  that was created right back in 1647. Currently, the four brothers run the company. The family controls more than four hundred hectares. One hundred and fifty of these hectares are dedicated to cultivate mainly Tempranillo, which reach sixty-five percent. The rest, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay and Merlot, are distributed equally and with the appropriate clones for the microclimate of the farm.

A well-prepared table is a good reason to get together with friends and family, to enjoy moments that will last in our memory,now more than ever. Chivite Las Fincas Rosado comes into being from the complicity which is created around a well-prepared table, in this case, between two great friends: Julián Chivite, who knows his stuff about wine, and the chef Juan Mari Arzak, one of the best exponents of good gastronomy. The result? A perfect pairing from which Chivite Las Fincas comes into existence: an exclusive, limited and numbered edition rosé wine.

It is made from Grenache and Tempranillo from the farm Legardeta, owned by the Chivite family. After the harvest, the grapes are vinified in a traditional way trough the saignée method, with a slight maceration. It ferments in stainless steel deposits at a low temperature for 21 days. It is left to stand with its lees for around 6 months.

Chivite Las Fincas Rosado 2022 is a wine of an elegant pale pink color reminiscent of Provencal rosés. On the nose, it offers subtle floral notes accompanied by aromas of fresh red fruits on a delicate mineral background. On the palate, it flows with a refreshing and precise acidity reminiscent of fruits like grapefruit, raspberry, or pomegranate. A highly gastronomic rosé wine, silky and complex, suitable for a wide variety of dishes.
2021 Chivite Las Fincas Rosado 2021 is a gastronomic and refreshing wine that offers a range of fresh fruit aromas (strawberry, pomegranate, raspberry, cherry) accompanied by a subtle floral nuance. The palate has a bright, balanced acidity reminiscent of grapefruit citrus notes. A well-structured and very pleasant rosé.

2017 Chivite Las Fincas Rosado 2017 is a light, fresh and delicate wine. A warmer vintage that gives it maturity on the nose, red fruit with light floral notes and more unctuousness in the mouth, but still very fresh and elegant.
