L'Abeille de Fieuzal Blanc 2020
AOC Pessac-léognan
(Bordeaux)
- New
“When you taste Fieuzal, you taste much more than a wine: you taste a place; an experience.” This is how it is at Château de Fieuzal, a winery located in the heart of the historic home of Bordeaux wines, famous for its elegant white wines and opulent red wines. If there is one thing about this château, which is part of the AOC Pessac-Léognan that makes its wines so popular, it is the 80 hectares of land made up exclusively of gravel, a type of soil that meticulously regulates the water supply. Since 2001 is has been owned by Brenda and Lochalann Quinn, two leading Irish businessmen who love fine wines and fine art, they work in the vineyard and cellar to exacting French standards to produce true luxury products.
Château de Fieuzal Blanc is a white wine that beautifully combines the fruit of the Sauvignon Blanc and Semillón varieties with 12 months of aging in French oak barrels. These grapes are respectfully cultivated with the aim of enhancing the qualities of an exceptional terroir. In the winery, the selected and destemmed grapes are gently pressed to begin fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a constant temperature of no more than 20ºC. The wine then rests on its lees in French oak barrels.
Made in one of the best gravel outcrops in Pessac-Leognan, Château de Fieuzal Blanc proves itself to be a true work of art where the infinite nuances are gradually revealed. A real luxury!
