About Bucciarelli Chianti Classico
Miguel Ángel Buonarroti, one of the most illustrious geniuses of the Renaissance, left an indelible mark on global art and culture. His prowess with marble, his unique vision in painting, and his architectural innovations transformed art forever. Yet beyond his artistic legacy, there is a special corner in Italy that links his name with the land and viticultural tradition: the estate Miguel Ángel acquired in 1549.
This place, which belonged to Miguel Ángel and his heirs until 1863, is a historical gem. Not only did it witness the life of the great Master, but it also bore witness to his deep appreciation and love for the land. Through the centuries, this estate has maintained its bond with viticulture, and today it remains a testament to Italian winemaking tradition.
Currently, the estate is owned by the Bucciarelli family, who have honoured that legacy with a steadfast commitment to tradition, quality, and eco-sustainability. Their passion for the land and respect for the art of winemaking are conveyed in every bottle they produce.
Bucciarelli Chianti Classico is a clear embodiment of this heritage. Its sangiovese, canaiolo, and merlot grapes, organically cultivated on the historic lands of Miguel Ángel, are hand-harvested to ensure the selection of the finest clusters. Controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks preserves the fresh and fruity aromas, while ageing for at least 24 months in large oak barrels imparts complexity and depth.
Bucciarelli Chianti Classico is a masterpiece that bridges the art of the past with the craftsmanship of the present. A true vinicultural legacy that has withstood the test of time, as impressive as the works of its former owner, Miguel Ángel.
