You must have heard people say that dogs look like their owners. The truth is that some people, at first glance, do have some similar traits to their pets. And not only in appearance, but even in some aspects of their personality. According to recent scientific and psychological studies this coincidence isn’t actually a coincidence. Everything revolves around the effect of just being in the same place a lot. What we mean by that is that dogs don’t look like their owners from the beginning, but that both take on each other’s looks and characteristics as they spend more time together. This theory could easily be applied to Bruno Rochard’s relationship with his wines. A happy, simple and satisfied winegrower, his wines are truly made in his image. Since he inherited the family winery, Domaine de Mirebeau, in 1998, lying a few kilometres from the legendary village of Anjou in the Loire Valley, he has put everything into restoring the balance of the soils and creating wines that exude joy.
Bruno Rochard Des Bulles et des Boires Rosé is a natural rosé sparkling wine made with the Cabernet Franc and Grolleau varieties. These are old vines planted in clay and pebble soils cultivated using organic and biodynamic practices and producing a grape that is full of energy. In the winery, no additives are used and the wine is made using the ancient method. This begins with a spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts and when the must is still developing, it is bottled unfiltered and without adding any sugar to finish fermenting and develop the bubbles.
Bruno Rochard Des Bulles et des Boires Rosé is made with a focus on looking after nature, which has produced a pure, simple and cheerful Pétillant Naturel rosé made in the image of its creator.
