About Bruno Murciano Las Blancas
Bruno Murciano Las Blancas is a barrel-aged white wine made by sommelier Bruno Murciano in the D.O. Utiel-Requena with the Macabeo, Malvasía, Marisancho, Muscat and Merseguera varieties.
Bruno Murciano is a renowned Spanish sommelier who has worked in prestigious venues like the Ritz in London. Alongside his brother José Luis, he now works to show the world the great characteristics of the native varieties from their hometown, Caudete de las Fuentes (Valencia), such as the Bobal variety. He works very carefully in both the vineyard and the winery to produce fresh and very elegant wines.
The Bruno Murciano Las Blancas wine is made with five native varieties from Valencia. These are ecological vines that are planted on mainly clay soils with areas of limestone and sand. They use environmentally respectful agriculture and the harvest is carried out manually in 10 kg boxes; then the grapes are cold macerated at 2ºC for 3 days.
When it comes to vinification, half of the Bruno Murciano Las Blancas undergoes alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks and the other half ages on its lees in French barrels that have been used for four and five years. It then ages on its lees in French oak barrels for 6 months.
Bruno Murciano Las Blancas is a white wine made from 5 white varieties. A floral bouquet with the most pleasant nose and palate.
