About Beronia Rosado
Beronia Rosado is a Tempranillo variety rosé wine produced by Bodegas Beronia in the D.O.Ca. Rioja.
Bodegas Beronia was set up in 1973 by an entrepreneurial group of friends from a Gastronomic Society, with a love of good food and the aim of making high-quality wines in the D.O.Ca. Rioja. Taking their name from the first Celtic settlers in the area in the middle of the third century (Berones), this group of entrepreneurs pay tribute to the purest traditional style. This style is maintained by the González Byass Winery Family, the current owner of Beronia.
Beronia Rosado comes from three plots of vineyards with an average age of between 25 and 35 years. These vineyards are cultivated through sustainable agriculture that respects the environment. The yields are limited to 6,500 kg per hectare. The grapes are harvested when they reach optimum ripeness.
In the winery, the Beronia Rosado must undergoes a cold maceration in contact with the skins for several hours. A static settling process then takes places at 5°C and it is immediately fermented at a controlled temperature below 22°C for two weeks. Finally, the wine ages in the bottle on lees.
Beronia Rosado is an easy-drinking rosé wine that is perfect for enjoying at any time. Sweet freshness at a great price.
