About Ares Crianza

Ares Crianza is a red wine from the Rioja region produced by the Diosares winery situated in the town of Laguardia.

This wine has been produced with Tempranillo grapes from their vineyards which lie 600 metres above sea level. The vines grow on a clay terrain with limestone components.

 

2010 Sophisticated, robust in flavors, harmonious, expansive, and refined in its bouquet, featuring a well-blended symphony of fruity nuances and matured character, with enduring presence accentuated by spiced hints and a prominent ripe fruit profile. Highly evocative.

Cherry red with subtle purplish highlights.

Expressive with red and black fruits and seamlessly integrated oak aging.
2009 A red wine with a stout, but at the same time easy-going and mellow mid palate. Medium body, integrated acidity and nice tannins. Quite long and persistent finish with light bitter notes. Abundant toasted aromas are noticed at retro-olfaction.

Intense ruby red colour with maroon edges. Intense, clean and very bright colour.

Medium-intensity nasal aromas, in which the notes of red and black fruits (raspberry and redcurrant) are dominant. They are well balanced with some light spicy hints and with the toasted notes provided during the ageing.
