Tasting notes Ardbeg Corryvreckan Scotch Whisky 70cl

Whisky escocés (70 cl.).

Deep, peppery and chewy, bombarding the tongue with its intense tastes and textures.
The first plunge brings hot peppered notes with the strong flavour of crispy seaweeds. Inmediatelly, a mouthful of black espresso coffee coats the palate along with a rich mix of dark fruits (blackcurrants, blueberries and cherries) and bitter almonds. As the taste soaks in deeper, star anise and hickory dry out the palate with a finish marked by notes of violets.

Amber colour.

Heady, intense and powerful.
After swirling the glass, its tarry and linseed oil notes rise. Its hints of dark chocolate, warm blackcurrants and sugar, liquorous cherries and pine needles are powerfuly released. 
When water is added, the notes of cinnamon emerge along with salty and hot spicy fragrances. Its notes of salty seasoning provide it with a briny character with hints of seaweed and smoked bacon with a touch of sweet vanilla, spicy cloves and blueberries.
