Characteristics Acústic

Acústic is a red wine from the Monstant DO created by Acústic Celler. This wine is a blend of the Red Garnancha and Cariñena varieties.

The climate of this región is eminently Mediterranean, although there is also a continental influence. The average anual temperate isa round 15 degrees.

The Grapes from Acústic come from old vines, which are aged between 35-65 years old.

The harvest and the production of the wine follows an ecological manner. During the winemaking process of Acústic, technological treatments are not used in order to respect the natural expression of the vineyard.

Acústic then rests, for some 10 months in French Oak Barrells. This wine is neither filtered nor clarified.

Acústic Celler is one the projects of Albert Jané, the great-grandson of the historical winey Jané Ventura, which one will find in the Penedes Region.

Tasting notes Acústic

Acústic 2020 is a smooth cherry red wine that blends with a subtle violet tinge at the rim. The aromas that stand out include red fruit, delicate floral notes of violets, herbal nuances and a touch of spice. On the palate, it captivates with its fullness, a savoury and fruity flavour that unfolds with complexity, enveloping the palate in an enchanting experience.

Acústic 2016 is a powerful, meaty and structured red wine. In this vintage the aromas of ripe red fruit stand out, with very elegant toasted notes over a subtle mineral base note. On the palate it is silky and expressive, with volume.
Pleasent and bulky, this is a fruity wine with sweet and velvety tannins. It has a well-intergrated acidity. Long finish with a marked presistence.

Intense with clean aromas. Notes of red and black fruits with a touch of ageing. Subtle mineral hints.

In the mouth it is very enjoyable and has volume. It is also very fruity, sweet and containing velvety tannins. Well integrated acidity. Long finish.

The greatest expression of red and black fruit. The fruit is the absolute protagonist. Its very elegant aromas are relased along with light floral notes and notes provided during its ageing, such as spices (especially cinnamon) and balsamics. Slightly mineral at the end. Very fruity wine with an explosion of aromas when it opens up.
Powerful, very fruity, meaty and dense with a good load of ripe black fruit. Wood as well integrated acidity and tannins. Long finish.

Acústic Celler is the personal project of Albert Jané, a young man born in El Vendrell, and whose great-grandfather founded a family-owned wine cellar in the Baix Penedès in 1914. Here, he began to market wines in bulk, and he continued his activity until, in 1985, Benjamí Jané, Albert's father, gave the winery its final boost. He redirected the business, created the brand Jané Ventura and began to bottle his wines. In 1990 the cava would arrive, and in 1991 the red wine, but his objective was always to produce wines that transmitted the affection that the Jané family has for their land. This is the philosophy that Albert Jané applies. He strictly complies with it, with the local varieties of Grenache and Carignan in D.O. Montsant.
