About Acústic Rosat

Acústic Rosat is a rosé from Montsant prepared by the Acústic Celler.

This winery, located in the town of Marçà (Tarragona), is an innovative project by winemaker Albert Jané, who is claiming a more natural and personal viticulture.

Acústic Rosat is made from the Grenache Noir. The grapes come from very old vines grown at about 500-700m altitude on poor soils with organic content and stones. The development of Acústic Rosat begins with a harvest and manual selection.

The grapes undergo a short maceration, this is performed separately for each variety. Then the juice of each variety is fermented in new French oak barrels (20%) and 80% in stainless steel.

Before bottling and after the final blend, the wine rests for about 6 months on its lees. Acústic Rosat is a rosé of very limited production.

2014 Good entry, powerful and fresh. Very juicy red fruit. Very balanced, complex, with good acidity and dryness. Long finish.

Intense, expressive and bright strawberry. Fine violet reflections.

Intensive aromas, very expressive and with fresh red fruit. Also herbaceous and mineral notes on a floral background.
2012 Powerful and broad attack. Well-balanced with juicy fresh fruit. Complex. Surprisingly dry. Good acidity and long finish, with a fruity aftertaste and an intense but pleasant bitterness. A distinct, different rosé wine.

Pretty strawberry colour, intense and very bright. Fine violet reflections.

Intensely aromatic with fresh and juicy red fruit prevailing. Paired with herbal notes, light floral touches and delicate spicy notes that come out when swirling the glass, along with nice mineral notes that finish rounding off this rosé wine.
2011 Amazing, powerful, wide and embracing attack and a very balanced mid palate, with juicy notes of fresh fruit with lots of nuances and creaminess. Very complex wine with a smooth silky texture and a very good acidity. It is surprisingly dry. Its highly tasty finish leaves a long aftertaste reminiscent of fruit with an intense but very nice bitter touch. A different, elegant and very tasty rosé wine.

High aromatic intensity. The aromas of fresh and juicy red fruits take centre stage, nuanced by subtle creamy and herbal notes. Its light floral hints and its delicate spices appear after a while along with a nice minerality provided by the terroir, which rounds out this charming rosé wine.
