A. J. Adam Hofberg Riesling Kabinett is a sweet white wine from the VDP Mosel-Saar-Ruwer produced by Weingut A. J. Adam.

Weingut A. J. Adam is a young winery founded in 2000 and located in Neumargen-Dhron, in the Moselle. Today the winery has approximately 3.5 hectares of Riesling  vineyards that are from 30 to 60 years old. They are on steep slopes on the banks of the river Moselle. The winery is run by Andreas Adam, who trained with one of the best wine producers in Germany, Weingut Hetmann-Löwenstein. He has maintained and recovered his grandfather’s vineyards and vinifies with native yeasts in stainless steel tanks and in large oak barrels.

The vineyard for M. J. Adam Hofberg Riesling Kabinett has worn slate soils with quartzite. It is located in a side valley to the Moselle, on the side of the river Dhron. The vines are between 30 and 65 years old and the carried out manually in order to perform a rigorous selection of the best bunches while still in the field.

A. J. Adam Hofberg Riesling Kabinett is produced according to the traditional method of making white wines, and fermented with native yeasts in stainless steel tanks.

A. J. Adam Hofberg Riesling Kabinett is an intense, fresh and fruity white wine in which the residual sugars are present but balanced by the fresh acidity.
