Deeply rooted in tradition and Jalisco (its birthplace), 818 Tequila Blanco is a beverage that stands out for its freshness and purity; a unique opportunity to experience firsthand the essence of Blue Weber agave, the plant from which this drink originates, revealed in its full glory without any hindrance. This is possible for two reasons: firstly, the origin of the crops in Los Valles de Tequila, where the company collaborates with the largest producer of organic agave; secondly, the absence of barrel ageing, as 818 Tequila Blanco is bottled without being aged. Added to this are other details, such as traditional oven cooking at 96 degrees for over 30 hours, the milling of cooked agave with 800-kilogram wheels (a technique used for several centuries), the fermentation of the must in unique wooden and stainless steel tanks (where agave fibres are inoculated with native yeasts) or the double distillation in handcrafted copper stills.
