Robert Parker is an American wine critic. We’re not mistaken if we say that Parker is the most influential critic in the whole world. By means of his newsletter The Wine Advocate, a publication known colloquially as the Parker Guide, he rates wines from all over the world on a scale ranging from 1 to 100. Obtaining 100 Parker points is a historic landmark. The influence exercised by the Parker Guide on consumption habits is such that the wine that obtains it automatically becomes an object of desire.

How to Interpret the Scores?

Our selection encompasses the ranges that make a difference in a tasting:

  • Wines with 87-89 Parker Points: wines rated as "very good." These are labels that exhibit impeccable craftsmanship and clear typicity, often offering exceptional value for money.
  • Wines with 90-95 Parker Points: "exceptional" wines. This category includes bottles with superior personality, great balance, and complex nuances. They are the favourites of those seeking a sure success.
  • Wines with 96-100 Parker Points: "extraordinary" wines. These are the crown jewels, labels that represent the pinnacle of a region or variety. Collectible wines with an uncommon ageing potential and depth.
