Zuccardi Valles Torrontés

Named in 2019 as one of the top ten winemakers in South America by the esteemed wine critic Tim Atkins for Decanter magazine, Sebastián Zuccardi has made a name for himself. As a third-generation member of the renowned Argentine winery Zuccardi, which produces high-quality wines, Sebastián has forged his own path to explore the myriad microclimates and soils of the Uco Valley (Mendoza), thereby crafting Andean wines with a true sense of place.

Crafted from grapes grown in high-altitude vineyards along the foothills of the Andes Mountains, he introduces us to Zuccardi Valles Torrontés. This white wine is made from the torrontés grape variety, planted at 1800 meters above sea level, benefiting from the cool, dry climate and significant diurnal temperature variation. In the winery, the selected, destemmed, and crushed grapes undergo controlled temperature fermentation in stainless steel tanks, followed by ageing on lees for six months to achieve the perfect roundness before bottling.
