Tasting notes Veuve Clicquot Brut Rosé in a case Gift

Cava Brut Nature. 3 3 años en botella sin degüelle.

Veuve Clicquot Brut Rosé is a very luminous, dry sparkling wine (9 gr/l of sugar) with a pink colour and coppery reflections. The nose is elegant and sophisticated, with red and black fruits (cherry, strawberry, raspberry, blueberry), spices (liquorice, ginger), pastries (cookie, croissant), orange peel, ginger and toast. The palate is structured and silky, very intense, with a very well integrated and smooth bubble.

For years the Veuve Clicquot house has been making history. This is partly due to Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label, their most classic and well-known champagne. But this is not the end of the story for this century-old company. Since its beginnings in 1772, with Madame Clicquot at the helm, Veuve Clicquot has always stood out for being a pioneer in everything (or almost everything): production, cultivation, etc. Otherwise, Veuve Clicquot would not be what it is today. Based on this spirit, red wine has now been added to the house classic and the result could not be better: Veuve Clicquot Brut Rosé.

More than 50 different crus are the basis of this dry sparkling wine, produced in Reims, in the A.O.C. Champagne. Cultivated in the conventional way, but without ever renouncing the highest quality, the bunches are harvested and quickly taken to the winery. Like Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label, Veuve Clicquot Brut Rosé is made in the same way (with 45% reserve wine), but this time it is complemented with some Pinot Noir (which will give it a sweeter and more powerful touch). Finally, Veuve Clicquot Brut Rosé is left to settle for three years on its lees in underground cellars known as crayéres. These tunnels, excavated in the limestone itself, are perfect for this stage, as they maintain constant environmental conditions. A jewel at your fingertips!
