Veuve Clicquot Extra Brut Extra Old
Champagne Extra Brut Respectful agriculture. 36 meses en depósitos de acero inoxidable and 3 3 años en botella sin degüelle.
Veuve Clicquot Extra Brut Extra Old is a champagne with very fine bubbles and aromas that remind us of ripe stone fruits accompanied by notes of frangipane (a kind of pastry cream with almonds widely used in French pastries). On the palate, this champagne is powerful and flows elegantly, leaving freshness and minerality in its wake and a delicious long and precise aftertaste, with a touch of subtle salinity. Exquisite!

About Veuve Clicquot Extra Brut Extra Old
Veuve Clicquot is a Maison that really stands out in the history of Champagne. Located in Reims (Champagne, France), they have 395 hectares of exceptional vineyards and a spectacular winery whose 24 kilometres of crayères (tunnels dug into the limestone rock of the Saint Nicaise hills) are classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
At this Champagne maison, blending wines is more than intuition, it is an art. Veuve Clicquot Extra Brut Extra Old (EBEO) is a Cuvée Collection made from an exclusive and unique blend of the best wines from their prized collection of grand reserves.
Six exceptional vintages dominated by Pinot Noir wines, which provide the hallmark of the house, the easily recognisable and admired structure of Clicquot champagnes, followed by Chardonnay wines, which provide delicacy, and finally some Pinot Meunier wines, which complete the blend. This mix is then left to age for three more years in the bottle where the different wines manage to fully integrate and result in a powerful sparkling wine with extraordinary elegance and magnificent structure, which honours the indelible memory of Barbe-Nicole Ponsardin, Clicquot’s widow (veuve), “the great lady of champagne”.
This champagne has an extraordinary aging potential of up to 15 years. Undoubtedly, a sparkling wine for the most demanding palates and one to open on the most special occasions.
