About Palacio Quemado Crianza

Palacio Quemado Crianza is a red wine from the D.O. Ribera del Guadiana, crafted by Bodegas Alvear, a family-owned winery established in 1729, currently comprising over 50 proprietors, some of whom are members of the Alvear family. In 1999, the Losada Serra family and Bodegas Alvear embarked on their Palacio Quemado project, a new line of premium wines.

The climate in this region is continental, characterised by mild influences from Atlantic winds. Summers are warm, and winters are mild.
This wine is a single-varietal Tempranillo (100%) sourced from vineyards planted on clayey and reddish soils, at an altitude of 520 metres above sea level. This wine is only produced when the harvest is of optimal quality.

Finally, Palacio Quemado Crianza has been aged in new American oak barrels for over 12 months.
