About Marqués de Riscal Gran Reserva

Marqués de Riscal Gran Reserva és un vi negre de la D.O. La Rioja elaborat pel celler Marqués de Riscal. Aquest vi és un cupatge de les varietats Ull de llebre, Graciano i Mazuelo.

Els raïms utilitzats per Marqués de Riscal Gran Reserva procedeixen de vinyes velles de més de 30 anys propietat del celler i de viticultors de la zona amb els quals es manté una estreta relació.

Els grans, després de ser seleccionats al celler, es vinifiquen de forma conjunta. Els diferents processos d'elaboració segueixen la metodologia tradicional, aprofitant els anys d'experiència amb què es compta a la D.O. La Rioja.

Marqués de Riscal Gran Reserva envelleix durant 32 mesos en bótes de roure americà. Posteriorment, s'afina altres tres anys en ampolla abans de començar a ser comercialitzat.

El celler Marqués de Riscal té més de 150 anys d'història. Referència del panorama vitivinícola espanyol, es considra Marqués de Riscal com una de les primeres empreses Rioja modernes que va començar a elaborar vins de qualitat.

2005 Well-structured and velvety. Exhibits commendable length with appealing, rounded tannins.

Deep picota cherry.

Robust and intense. It reveals spicy nuances against a pleasant backdrop of toasted aromas.
2004 This wine coats the mouth with elegant flavours, creamy tosted notes and fruit arômas at the attack. It has a silky texture. A balanced wine with a good structure and an excellent acidity. It has well-integrated tannins and a long and very persistent finish. A very elegant great classic wine.

Intense and very dark cherry red colour. Bright wine with dense, elegant- falling tears that stain the glass subtly.

Complex and intense aromas. The notes of red and black fruit are nuanced by light floral and noble toasted aromas. The notes of spices, tobacco, coffee and chocolate are also felt along with creamy touches provided during the ageing that round this wine out.
2002 Good attack. High presence of fruit along with spices, toast and creamy touches. It has a fat and tasty mid palate, with good acidity. Powerful, with polished tannins that lead to a long and silky finish.

Intense red wine. Significant legs that dye the cup.

Intense, complex and very expressive in the nose. This Rioja has notes of fruit and toasted wood on a background of spicy and creamy touches.
2000 In the mouth has a liveliness unusual, excellent acidity makes the passage mouth is fresh and light, toasty nuances under the tongue. Some soft tannins and elegant are virtually undetectable, leaving a persistent finish that invites you to continue drinking.
