Wine from winery Alfredo Arribas - Portal del Priorat

Alfredo Arribas began producing "vinos de finca" in the Priorat. His wines characterised by their subtle and elegant character, and were made with great precision. All of the grapes used from the Clos del Portals estate, 14 hectares of vineyards planted on terrazes, home to characteristic pizarra soils and cultivated following the principles of organic agriculture, with the aim of maximising the expression of the terroir in the wine. Later, Alfredo Arribas began to produce wines in the neighbouring Montsant region, with grapes taken from micro plots, all home to a wide diversity of soils (sandy, clay, limestone), on old vines between 40 and 100 years old, producing complex, potent and authentic wines of the D.O Montsant.
