“La concretezza di un sogno - Come fare il vino solo con l’uva” (The Realisation of a Dream – How to Make Wine with Just Grapes) is much more than a book. It is the manifesto of Angiolino Maule, one of the most influential winemakers in the natural wine world, who invites us to rediscover the art of winemaking from a revolutionary perspective. Within its pages, Maule charts a passionate and candid journey towards the essential: an approach where the grape, the terroir, and absolute respect for nature become the indisputable protagonists. This book not only reflects his personal and professional experience but also inspires those who seek to go beyond industrial standardisation, embracing the authenticity and beauty of imperfection. Indeed, Angiolino Maule knows his subject well. In 1988, after more than a decade dedicated to the art of restoration, he decided to swap pizza for vineyards, acquiring 6 hectares in the hills of Gambellara, in the heart of Veneto. There, La Biancara was born, his pioneering family project, which remains a beacon of minimal intervention wine today, where each bottle tells a unique story of the terroir and its people.

Among the gems of the winery is La Biancara Pico Tre Cru, a wine that embodies the essence of Gambellara. This extraordinary white is crafted from pure garganega, selected from the highest and most suitable hills of the region. Its fermentation process occurs spontaneously, using only indigenous yeasts, thus reflecting the authentic character of its origin. It then rests for 12 months in large 15 hl oak barrels, where it develops unique depth and complexity.

The result is La Biancara Pico Tre Cru, a vibrant, fresh, and elegant wine that perfectly reflects Maule's philosophy and his unwavering connection to the land. A true legacy that inspires and transcends.
