About Homenaje Rosado

Homenaje Joven Rosado is a rosé wine from the DO. Navarra produced by Marco Real, a winery established in 1989 and part of the Familia Belasco group of wineries.

The climate in this region is rather unique as it is influenced by the Atlantic, continental, and Mediterranean climates due to its location. The vineyards benefit from the influences of the Cantabrian Sea, the Pyrenees, and the Ebro Valley.

This wine is a single-varietal made from Garnacha grapes sourced from 200 hectares of proprietary vineyards located in the towns of Olite, Sansol, Torres del Río, Corella, and Santacara.

Regarding its production, after the destemming of Homenaje Joven Rosado, the traditional bleeding method is employed. Subsequently, the grapes undergo maceration for 10 hours and fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 20-22°C.

2019 Homenaje Rosado 2019 is an exuberant rosé, brimming with fruity characteristics and an expressive bouquet of fresh red berries, floral undertones, and herbaceous hints. On the palate, it is flavorful, succulent, and rich in fruit nuances. It reveals a zesty acidity, a silky texture, and a lingering finish.

The palate is fruity, sweet, elegant and fresh. It has a very pleasant aftertaste and is inviting to drink.

The nose is complex and is presented with clear aromas of red fruits like blackberry, strawberry and cherry with notes of citrus and orange peel.
2013 This wine is very elegant, fresh, fruity and appetising on the palate, with a nice aftertaste, encouraging another sip.

2010 Very tasty, very fresh and expressive wine, with strong notes of fruit (with hints of jelly). It shows a balanced acidity and a light hint of bitterness. Long finish.
A very nice, easy-drinking wine, to deal with the summer heat.

Intense strawberry colour with some subtle blue-violet reflection. Clean and bright wine.
