About Dominio Fournier Reserva

Dominio Fournier Reserva is a gem that encapsulates the history of Ribera del Duero in every drop, one of the world's most esteemed wine regions. This winery, which cultivated its vineyards literally on the banks of the Duero River even before the establishment of the D.O. Ribera del Duero, is a true benchmark in the region. With over 60 years of experience, its commitment to quality, tradition, and artisanal craftsmanship remains the soul of its wines.
 
Dominio Fournier Reserva hails from vineyards with a meticulously selected tempranillo (tinta del país) grapes, cultivated at over 800 metres above sea level, in poor, stony soils with excellent drainage that limit the vines' vigour and promote an exceptional concentration of flavours. This red wine has undergone a minimum of 36 months of ageing, between 18 and 24 months in French oak barrels and the remainder in the bottle, granting it a unique complexity, silkiness, and balance. On the palate, it offers a harmonious roundness, with a robust body and enduring elegance.
