Clarabella Essenza Pas Dose Franciacorta is a sparkling wine with a straw-yellow hue and a creamy, abundant mousse. It exhibits small bubbles that rise moderately. On the nose, there are intense yeast aromas accompanied by hints of lemon and green apple. On the palate, it offers pleasant effervescence and balanced acidity, with a fine and crisp bubble. Its finish is long, leaving a mineral and citrus sensation.

About Clarabella Essenza Pas Dose Franciacorta

There are many wineries, but Clarabella is far more than just a simple winemaking project. It stands as a symbol of transformation and social commitment in the Franciacorta region, Lombardy (Italy). Established in 2002, it is an agricultural social cooperative that not only provides employment opportunities for people with physical and mental disabilities but also actively champions the quality and recognition of DOGC Franciacorta. With 10 hectares of vineyard in the town of Iseo, nestled between Lake Iseo and Franciacorta, it offers exceptional wines that honour its commitment to the region and its steadfast dedication to social inclusion.

Sourced from chardonnay vines located near the winery, within the village and at an altitude between 150 and 250 metres, Clarabella Essenza Pas Dose Franciacorta is a sparkling wine that encapsulates all the characteristics needed to enjoy an authentic, high-quality Franciacorta. The organically cultivated vineyards are harvested, selected, and destemmed, followed by gentle pressing with static decantation in cold conditions for 36 hours. The resulting must ferments with selected yeasts, 85% in stainless steel and the remaining 15% in barrels. Subsequently, a second fermentation takes place in the bottle, following the champenoise method, where it remains on the lees for 24 months. Finally, disgorgement is carried out without adding expedition liqueur.
