About Chivite Finca Legardeta Chardonnay

Chivite Finca Legardeta Chardonnay is a white wine from the DO Navarra crafted by Chivite, one of the most historically significant wineries in the region. It is a single-varietal wine made from Chardonnay grapes.

The grapes used for Chivite Finca Legardeta Chardonnay are sourced from the winery's own vineyards located in the village of Villatuerta. The yield per hectare is low, which results in a harvest that is not very abundant but of exceptional quality. Following the requisite cultivation and harvest processes, the grape clusters are processed at the winery.

The production process of the grapes for Chivite Finca Legardeta Chardonnay adheres to the traditional methodology, implemented over centuries at Chivite Finca Legardeta Chardonnay. Before being released to the market, it matures for six months in French oak barrels on its lees.

The maturation of white wines - as in this case - and rosés are among the key characteristics of the esteemed winery Chivite.

2023

Chivite Finca Legardeta Chardonnay 2023 is a white wine with a straw hue and greenish highlights. On the nose, it presents intense aromas of green apple and pear, accompanied by subtle floral notes and a hint of fine wood. On the palate, it is characterised by its good acidity and intensity, with a creamy profile that makes it very pleasant to the taste.

Chivite Finca Legardeta Chardonnay 2022 is a vibrant and refreshing white wine, boasting a delightful fullness that gently caresses the palate. On the nose, it presents a spectrum of fragrances with pear and peach taking the forefront, interwoven with delicate hints of pastries. Its journey across the palate is harmonious, delivering a silky texture and a lingering finish. This mature and sophisticated white wine is the ideal choice for those in pursuit of both character and vivacity.
 
2017 Legardeta Finca de Villatuerta Chardonnay 2017 is a creamy, structured and elegant white wine. This vintage highlights the ripe white fruit and provides volume in the mouth, with an ample mid-palate and a long and persistent finish.
2013 Crisp and well-balanced acidity. Subtly fruity with a highly palatable finish.

Radiant golden yellow hue.

Distinct varietal character and tropical fruit notes. Exhibits great intensity and complexity.
2012 On the palate it is sweet and fresh. It evolves as it passes through the mouth and gives a flavoursome and soft finish.

Yellow colour with green reflections.

On the nose it is intense, fresh and complex. There are lemon hints with smoky and almond notes.
2011 A sweet attack and powerful evolution on the palate. A savoury, smooth finish.
