About Cénit Tradición

When we speak of "zenith," we refer not only to the highest point in the sky above your head but also to the pinnacle of a wine, that moment when tradition, terroir, and passion converge in perfect harmony. This is precisely the essence of Cé­nit Tradición.

Crafted by Viñas del Cé­nit, a winery established in 2006 with the clear mission of preserving and celebrating the wine heritage of Tierra del Vino de Zamora, transforming it into unforgettable wines. And Cé­nit is undoubtedly their flagship.

This single-variety tempranillo is intense, elegant, and complex. Its grapes come from selected plots with pre-phylloxera vines aged between 120 and 150 years, true survivors of the region's wine history, perfectly adapted to the Leonese plateau.

The production follows traditional methods that seem drawn from another era, yet with contemporary results. The grapes are harvested together, with their varieties mixed, trodden in an open vat without destemming, and the must is allowed to evolve in well-used wood for 7 months. Every detail is a nod to tradition, a homage to the patience and authenticity of Tierra del Vino de Zamora.
