About Agustí Torelló Mata Xic

Agustí Torelló Mata, son of tailors and musicians, was interested in the world of wine and cava from a young age. In 1953 he oppened the first wine analysis labatory in Sant Sadurní d'Anoia. Following this, he became the director of large wineries in the industry.


Agustí Torelló Mata Xic Xarel.lo is an ecological white Wine from the Penedès DO produced by Agustí Torelló Mata. This wine is made using only the Xarel.lo grape variety.

The grapes from Agustí Torelló Mata Xic Xarel.lo come from vineyards with Calcareous clay soil.

Once the grapes are harvested and transported to the winery, Agustí Torelló Mata Xic Xarel.lo starts the fermentation process, which lasts 22 days at a controled temperatura of 22 degrees.

Agustí Torelló Mata Xic Xarel.lo relies on the ecoligical certificate CCPAE (Consell Català de Producció Agrícola Ecològica).

Finally, the wine is bottled and put onto the market.
