About Veyder-Malberg Wachauer Terrassen
Veyder-Malberg Wachauer Terrassen is a white wine from Wachau (Lower Austria), made by Veyder-Malberg with the Riesling variety.
In 2007 Peter Veyder-Malberg, a prestigious Austrian winemaker, founded his own winery in the Wachau Valley. An estate with impressive slate soil slopes where he can use his knowledge of ecological, organic and biodynamic viticulture to produce wines that are characteristic of this valley under the influence of the Danube.
Veyder-Malberg Wachauer Terrassen comes from terraced vineyards. These strains are grown using environmentally friendly techniques to achieve a low, but high quality yield. The harvest is carried out manually and early to maintain a freshness, low alcohol content and firm acidity.
When the grape reaches the winery, it is gently pressed for about 6 hours. Veyder-Malberg Wachauer Terrassen is vinified spontaneously in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature.
Veyder-Malberg Wachauer Terrassen is a dry white wine with a low alcohol content (11.5%) that reveals a vibrant freshness and acidity.

2018 | Veyder-Malberg Wachauer Terrassen 2018 is an aromatic white wine with aromas of apricot, currant leaves and green apple. On the palate it presents a surprising acidity. Dry and light but with powerful fruit flavours and mineral notes. |
