About Torres De Casta

Despite being over 80 years old, Torres De Casta continues to astonish. This rosé, a blend of Garnacha Tinta and Cariñena, was conceived in the 1940s by Miguel Torres Carbó, the third generation of the Torres winemaking family, who had the acumen to heed the public's demand for a rosé distinct from the norm of that era. After years of trials, experimentation, and refinement, Torres De Casta emerged, remaining an essential experience not to be missed. 
 
Entirely fruity and easy to drink, Torres De Casta originates in Catalonia, within the D.O. Catalunya, in the northeast of Spain, benefiting from exceptionally favourable conditions for viticulture. These factors have enabled this region, nestled between the Mediterranean and the Pyrenees, to enjoy a flourishing relationship with wine from the Phoenicians to the present day. 
 
Torres De Casta is harvested and transported to the winery, where it is left to macerate for approximately 24 hours. After this period, Torres De Casta is transferred to stainless steel tanks to ferment at a low temperature, striving to preserve the inherent aromas of the grape variety. Without further ado, once fermentation is complete, Torres De Casta is bottled.

2023

Torres De Casta 2023 is a light and pale rosé wine, notable for its freshness. On the nose, it presents aromas of strawberries and raspberries, accompanied by a subtle citrus note. On the palate, it is smooth and refreshing, with balanced acidity that makes it very easy to drink. Perfect for any occasion, especially on hot days.
2022 Torres De Casta 2022 is a rosé wine with suggestive aromas reminiscent of strawberries, cherries and peaches on the nose, accompanied by floral notes. The palate is lively and light, with a subtle sweet touch well balanced with a refreshing acidity. A smooth and fresh rosé wine.
2020

Torres De Casta 2020 is a vibrant wine. On the nose, it is robust, suffused with fruity and floral aromas (mimosa, lily). On the palate, it is effervescent and velvety, adorned with fruity notes (plum, cherry). It is rich and harmoniously balanced.
2019 Torres de Casta 2019 is an aromatic, fruity rosé suffused with floral scents intermingled with hints of small red berries. On the palate, it is velvety, luscious, and invigorating. This wine offers a delightful journey characterized by pronounced acidity and an extended finish.
2014 An unctuous palate which is nice and balanced.
