About Tomás Esteban

Tomás Esteban is a Tinta del país single-varietal, a variety native to the D.O. Ribera del Duero. The vineyard from which this wine comes is one of the oldest in the region. The vinegrowers use biodynamic farming techniques that respect the environment and the lunar cycles. The wine is made in 6000 and 3000 litre casks, and the fermentation is spurred by the indigenous yeasts from the estate. The wine stays in new French oak barrels for a total of three years.
2005 A smooth and elegant wine. Its time in the barrel has made this wine velvety on the palate. A mineral character is detected, from the estate from where it comes. This red wine is unctuous and fleshy, and will definitely not leave you indifferent.

A ruby red colour with some terracotta tones, which denotes its good evolution.

Medium-high aromatic intensity. Aromas of ripe red and black fruit stand out, along with toasted, milky and mineral notes.
