If you are one of those purists who steadfastly cling to their convictions, this wine is likely not for you. However, if you are an open-minded individual who relishes the opportunity to try new experiences, we warmly welcome you to the Chilean project of dealcoholised wines! It all began in 2017, when agronomist Andrés Duval decided to abstain from alcohol. Together with his wife Cecilia Prat, they travelled to Europe and discovered that the non-alcoholic offerings were far more extensive than they had imagined. It was then that they conceived the idea of applying this concept in their native Chile. Thus, under the brand Sinzero, they became pioneers in the production of dealcoholised wines in South America, crafting premium wines that originate from the noble terrain of Chile's foremost valleys, where the conditions for grape cultivation are unparalleled and exceptional.
As a testament to this endeavour, they present Sinzero Cabernet Sauvignon, a wine whose origins lie in the sun-drenched vineyards of the Maipo Valley. There, the cabernet sauvignon grapes thrive under optimal conditions, bestowing upon them their distinctive flavour. The harvest is conducted manually, with a meticulous selection process to ensure only the finest grapes are chosen. Subsequently, a gentle pressing is performed, and vinification adheres to traditional methods, with 20% of the wine aged in French oak barrels for 4 months, enhancing its aromas and structure.
Once the wine is completed, a special dealcoholisation process is undertaken using a low-pressure distillation technique, allowing the alcohols to evaporate at a low temperature without reaching boiling point. This process is executed through a system known as the Spinning Cone Column.
And the best part is that you can savour Sinzero Cabernet Sauvignon without compromising your principles or commitments. Because sometimes, stepping outside orthodoxy and exploring new paths leads us to discover different experiences, and Sinzero invites you to be part of this new way of enjoying wine, without limitations or restrictions.
