About Rosario Vera Biloba de Vera
There are surnames that seem to be omnipresent... and in the world of wine, Gil is one of those that requires little introduction. Surely, you've encountered one of their bottles at some point.
From their homeland in Jumilla (Murcia), this family of pioneers embarked years ago on an adventure that has taken them across a significant portion of the Spanish wine map. Always with a clear compass: to craft wines that are honest, flavourful, and offer an unsurpassed quality-to-price ratio.
Among all their ventures, one of the most special originates in Laguardia, right in the heart of Rioja Alavesa. It is called Rosario Vera, and from it emerges Biloba de Vera.
Made with the indigenous tempranillo grape from parcels selected for their extraordinary fruit concentration, this wine embodies everything that captivates about Rioja... but with a fresh, polished, and immensely enjoyable twist. Its 15-month ageing in French oak barrels provides the perfect balance: it complements the fruit without overshadowing it. Nothing is superfluous. Everything adds up. Elegant, rounded, and purposeful.
Rosario Vera Biloba de Vera is further evidence that when a surname appears on so many labels, it is no coincidence. It is the result of hard work, vision... and a very special way of understanding wine: with feet firmly on the ground and a glass full of flavour.
