Ron Pujol is an amber-coloured spirit that offers light wood and caramel nuances on the nose and spicy notes (cinnamon, nutmeg) that harmonise pleasantly when accompanied by coffee. The palate is intense and warm. A rum with a pleasant, unmistakable finish.

About Ron Pujol Rum

Ron Pujol was born in 1818 inspired by that seductive elixir that sailors brought back to Catalonia from the West Indies. That rum served as the best of America’s ambassadors, drunk in a glass or mixed with coffee, listening to “habaneras”: Cuban-inspired songs with a seafaring heart that nostalgically recalled that part that some families still had in Cuba, where many men had gone to make their fortune. 
 
In the “cantadas de habaneras”, people also drink “ron cremat” (burnt rum), a hot drink that is usually prepared with rum, coffee beans, sugar, lemon peel and cinnamon. Ron Pujol is ideal for preparing this traditional drink due to its organoleptic characteristics.
 
Made from a successful blend of cane spirits, Ron Pujol has earned a place in popular culture related to the history of the Indians returning from Cuba, but also, after years of success, has established itself as a versatile spirit perfect to be enjoyed alone or alongside other things.
