About Ramón Bilbao Rioja Organic

Ramón Bilbao, recognised as one of the 50 most prestigious wine brands in the world according to the annual ranking released by Drinks International magazine for five consecutive years (from 2019 to 2023), has become renowned over time for its commitment to quality and, above all, its curious and entrepreneurial spirit. Wines that are 100% DOCa Rioja and have succeeded in modernising tradition while highlighting origin and territory. Wines like this Ramón Bilbao Rioja Organic, which, in addition to being presented as a contemporary, fresh, and fruity tempranillo, is a significant commitment to sustainability. A blend from organic vineyards that presents itself as a wine of great purity with an exciting typicity.

Originating from tempranillo and garnacha vineyards planted on stony and clay-limestone soil at an altitude of 600 metres above sea level, Ramón Bilbao Rioja Organic is cultivated organically, without the use of any chemicals that could harm the natural balance of the terroir. After the harvest, the grapes are selected, destemmed, and crushed at the winery to start alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. Then, malolactic fermentation takes place, and finally, it ages in American oak barrels for 8 months.

With the aim of protecting biodiversity and respecting the land and the environment, Ramón Bilbao Rioja Organic is a significant commitment to sustainability. A fresh and fruity wine that remains true to its origins without compromising the quality of a leader.
