About Muchada-Léclapart Étoile

Muchada-Léclapart Étoile is a natural white wine produced by Muchada-Léclapart in Cádiz, Andalusia (Spain) with the Palomino variety.

Muchada-Léclapart is the project of young Andalusian architect Alejandro Muchada and experienced French winemaker David Léclapart. The perfect combination between the wisdom of champagne and the strength of the southern sun whose productions aren’t connected to the traditional wines of the Marco de Jerez.

Muchada-Léclapart Étoile comes from a small vineyard of 0.7 hectares of albarizo soils. They’re 50 year old vines that are worked under biodynamic agriculture with medicinal plant treatments and taking into account the phases of the moon.

Once the grapes have been harvested by hand, the Muchada-Léclapart Étoile ferments spontaneously in the Muchada-Léclapart winery with native yeasts and without any kind of rectification. The wine is then aged on the lees for 12 months in sherry casks and finally bottled without filtering or stabilization.

The winery's star wine, Muchada-Léclapart Étoile is a tribute to the history of the Marco de Jerez. A salty, elegant dry wine without intervention and without veil of flor.
