About Legaris Crianza
Legaris Crianza is a red wine from the Ribera del Duero produced by the Legaris winery. This wine is a varietal Tinta Fina.
The grapes come from farms managed by Legaris and their suppliers. The grapes are harvested in mid-October. They are harvested and vinified separately depending on the plot.
Crianza Legaris grapes undergo a soft stripping and are then transferred to tanks where it undergoes progressively prefermentative fermentation, which occurs at about 26º with indigenous yeasts in deposits.
The alcoholic fermentation and maceration last about a week.
Subsequently, malolactic fermentation takes place and finally Legaris Crianza is aged in French and American oak for twelve months. A quarter of these barrels are new.
After this process, the final blend is made and Legaris Crianza is clarified with egg white and filtered softly.
The Legaris winery is known for its innovation, which aims to maximize the outcome of the fruit of the Ribera del Duero.
The products of this winery are unique and distinctly characteristic wines.
