About Izadi Larrosa Blanca

Izadi Larrosa Blanca is a young white wine made from the Garnacha Blanca variety in the D.O. Ca. Rioja by Izadi.

Located in the triangle formed by the towns of Villabuena, Samaniego and Ábalos in Rioja Alavesa, Izadi ('nature' in Basque) is the wine project of a group of friends and entrepreneurs to bottle their beloved natural environment. Today it’s part of the great Artevino group.

Izadi Larrosa Blanca comes from three small selected plots, located almost 800 meters above sea level. The vines are planted in calcareous clay soils and harvested manually once the grape reaches its optimum maturation.

In the cellar, the Izadi Larrosa Blanca grape is de-stemmed and goes through a gentle pressing. The must obtained then ferments in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. Finally, the wine is clarified and filtered before bottling.

Aiming to give visibility to the area’s native varieties, Izadi Larrosa Blanca is a monovarietal Garnacha Blanca: fresh, fruity and very intense.

It flows with a precise acidity that adds freshness and highlights the intensity of its fruity flavours with delicate mineral touches. A silky and very easy to drink white wine.

Izadi Larrosa Blanca 2019 is a sculpted white wine with pronounced aromas of white and stone fruits, complemented by delicate floral undertones. On the palate, it is delightful, crisp, and effervescent. It exhibits a vigorous acidity and a delightfully fruity finish. 
2018 Izadi Larrosa Blanca 2018 is a profiled white wine with aromas of white fruit and outstanding floral notes. On the palate it’s fresh, intense and flavorsome. A slightly unctuous wine with good acidity.
