About Hennessy X.O Chinese New Year Limited Edition

Maison Hennessy commemorates the Chinese New Year in honour of the Snake with a new and dazzling limited edition of its iconic Hennessy X.O, designed in collaboration with Shuting Qiu, the first woman to partner with the brand for this collection. Inspired by traditional Chinese silks and craftsmanship, the designer reimagines the bottle with a satin gradient from red to purple, adorned in the centre with embroidered floral motifs and a relief that evokes the texture of the snake's skin, a symbol of transformation and new beginnings, as well as the sinuous movement of the Charente River, distinctive of the Cognac region.
 
In 1870, Master Blender Emile Fillioux created for Maurice Hennessy a unique blend that would mark the birth of Hennessy X.O, an "Extra Old" cognac considered one of the world's most distinguished. More than 150 years later, this cognac of powerful and balanced character remains a symbol of luxury, ideal for sharing in the most intimate moments. Its complex aromas of ripe fruits, soft spices, and well-integrated wood, along with its silky texture, make it an unparalleled experience for the most discerning palates.
